England pacers strike early, but India stretch lead to 207

Mohali, Dec 22 (IANS) England fast bowlers struck early to leave India at 56 for three in the second innings at tea on the fourth day of the second cricket Test at the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) Stadium here Monday.

 

Gautam Gambhir (26) and V.V.S. Laxman (6) were at the crease as India extended its lead by 207 runs. Earlier in the day, England were bowled out for 302 in the first innings in reply to India's 453.
