Rahul Gandhi to visit Amethi Thursday

Lucknow, Dec 16 (IANS) Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi is set to visit his constituency Amethi in Uttar Pradesh Thursday, party officials said.
'Rahul will be coming to Amethi on a two-day visit Thursday (Dec 18) and will be attending a number of programmes,' state Congress spokesperson A.P. Singh told IANS.
Besides attending a meeting of the central vigilance and monitoring committee, Gandhi is also scheduled to visit various villages and schools in Amethi and Sultanpur, Singh added.
Gandhi, an MP from Amethi, visited the state's Firozabad district last Friday to meet the family members of the 63 people who died in a burning bus Dec 9.
