Wellington, Dec 12 (ANI): 'Sex and the City' star Cynthia Nixon has said that the sequel to the movie could be filmed in New Zealand.
While at the Muse Awards luncheon in New York, Nixon, who plays lawyer Miranda Hobbes in the hit TV show-turned-film-franchise, told reporters that part or all of Sex and the City 2 could be filmed in New Zealand.
However, she downplayed reports that filming could begin early next year, saying fans could be in for a long wait.
"We don't know if it's coming up. We're in negotiation. I'm very hopeful, but certainly nothing is for sure. I don't think anyone's deals are done," the NZPA quoted her, as saying.
Nixon said she wanted her character to have a bigger storyline in the sequel.
"I'd like her to have fun and be less uptight, let her sexuality blossom," she said.
"She had such a hard time last time," she added.
The show also stars Kristin Davis as Charlotte, Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie and Kim Cattrall as Samantha. (ANI)
