New Delhi, Dec 7 (IANS) Maharashtra chief minister-designate Ashok Chavan and his prececessor Vilasrao Deshmukh met Congress president Sonia Gandhi here Sunday.
Chavan discussed the government formation in Maharashtra with Gandhi, party sources said.
Picking new ministers from among the Congress legislators would be a tough task for Chavan as Narayan Rane, who has claimed the support of 30 legislators, has rebelled after being ignored for the post of chief minister, they said.
