Guwahati, Delhi ODIs cancelled after terror strike
Bhubaneswar, Nov 27 (IANS) The remaining one-day internationals of the seven-match series against England in Guwahati and Delhi have been cancelled in view of the terror strikes in Mumbai, officials said here Thursday.
'We have accepted the request for cancellation of the Guwahati and Delhi one-dayers,' BCCI secretary N. Srinivasan told reporters here after holding an hour-long meeting with the England team management Thursday morning before arriving at this decision.
The sixth one-day international was scheduled to be played at Guwahati Nov 29 and the final one-day international at New Delhi Dec 2.
About the test matches, he said: 'We expect they (the teams) will come and play the test matches.'
About the upcoming champions league matches, he said: 'There are some difficulties and it is being evaluated.'
