Journalist shot dead in Bihar

Patna, Nov 25 (IANS) A journalist was shot dead by unidentified criminals Tuesday evening in a Bihar town, the police said.
Vikash Ranjan, a reporter with Hindi daily Dainik Hindustan, was shot dead in Rosera town in Samastipur district, about 125 km from here.
'Vikash Ranjan died on the spot after he was shot,' a police official said.
According to sources close to the deceased's family, Ranjan had informed the Samastipur superintendent of police about the threats he had received in the last ten days.
