National,Sports, Fri, 21 Nov 2008 IANS

New Delhi, Nov 21 (IANS) With All India Football Federation (AIFF) president Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi critically ill, the executive committee will meet here Saturday to take a decision on next month's Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The meeting, which will be headed by vice-president Praful Patel, will decide when to host the AGM or may even postpone it.

The 62-year-old Dasmunsi, who suffered a severe heart attack in October, is stable but lacks cerebral functioning.

Given the condition of Dasmunsi, the executive committee may also postpone the AGM, a source in AIFF told IANS.

The committee will also discuss the road map for the 2011 Asia Cup in Qatar and will also review the team's performance in 2008. India qualified for the Asia Cup after a gap of 24 years by winning the AFC Challenge Cup this year.
