IANS
Mumbai, Oct 28 (IANS) An anonymous caller to the police control room Tuesday threatened to carry out blasts in northwest Dahisar suburb of Mumbai and Mira Road and Bhayander suburbs of Thane district, an official said.
The call, received by the main city police control room Tuesday morning, was made from a Tata mobile phone number.
"It could be one of the several hoax calls that we keep getting," the official told IANS.
The Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) is investigating the anonymous call.
Bhayander and Mira Road suburbs on the outskirts of the city have large pockets of minority Muslim dwellers.
