Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 15 (IANS) The Kerala government has instituted a study into the adverse effect of the global economic crisis on the state.
Addressing reporters here after a cabinet meeting Wednesday, Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan said: 'The Centre for Development Studies (CDS) has been asked to conduct the study and give an interim report in 15 days.'
The CDS is a Thiruvananthapuram-based social science research institute.
