Fine all-round performances by man of the match Rahul Sidhu (3 for 20 and 50) and Rohan Sharma (4/20 and 35) guided Times of India to score a six-wicket win over Star News gaining two points in the DSCL Twenty20 media cricket tournament played at the Modern School grounds here on Tuesday.

Brief scores: Star News: 139 all out in 20 overs (Anil Bisht 35, Rahul Sidhu 3/20, Rohan Sharma 4/20, Ashish Jaiswal 2/29) lost to Times of India: 143 for 4 in 19 overs (Rahul Sidhu 50, Rohan Sharma 35).

Shekhar’s all-round display

All-round display by Shekhar (2/6 and 34 no) helped Foreign Correspondent Club of South Asia beat South Africa High Commission by 5 wickets in the 8th Commonwealth High Commission cricket tournament for RAMS trophy at the Nehru Stadium.

Brief scores: SAHC: 184 in 23.3 Overs (Arif 51, Shafiq 44, Mubasher 35, Ayanjit 4/50, Shekhar 2/6, Viraj Bisht 2/31) lost to FCC: 187 for 5 in 23.5 overs (Ravi Lekhi 40, Shekhar 34 no, Arif 3/18).

Delhi Police, Bright Club, DTC and Youngsters register wins in DDCA league

Fine all-round display by Sanjay Verma, scalping four wickets for 18 runs followed by a quick-fire 57 helped Delhi Police beat KN Colts by four wickets in the Premier division. Bright Club beat Hind Club by eight wickets in the Super Plate group while Delhi Transport Corporation and Youngsters registered wins in the Super Plate group in the DDCA league.

Brief scores: KN Colts: 155 all out in 35 overs (Ompla 49, Sanjay Verma 4/18) lost to Delhi Police: 156 for 6 in 33 overs (Sanjay Verma 57, Rajesh Sharma 44); Hind Club: 103 all out in 32 overs (Sanjay Rawat 34, Kapil Pandey 3/22) lost to Bright Club: 104 for 2 in 27 overs (Sandeep Sharma 60 not out); DTC: 193 for 7 in 40 overs (Kulvinder Singh 44) beat MTNL: 164 all out in 29 overs (Dalip Kumar 48 n.o., Mahesh Sharma 2/27); Darling Club: 146 all out in 38 overs (Sachin Sershwat 39, Sunil Rawat 3/24) lost to Youngsters: 147 for 2 in 33 overs (Shobhit Kaushik 57, Akash 51).
