London, Dec 2 (ANI): A woman saw her lover, who was 7000 miles away from her, committing suicide by slitting his throat in front of her on Skype.
Julie Zalinski was video chatting with firm director Adrian Rowland, 53, who was in India for business purposes.
But the video chat turned into a horror show when the father of three suddenly took out a knife and killed himself as she watched the whole occurrence live.
Julie hysterically dialled 999 in a bid to inform the British cops and save her partner's life.
The cops got in touch with Indian authorities via the Foreign Office but medics, who rushed to his room, were unable to save him.
It is believed the couple may have been having difficulties over their long-distance relationship, the Sun reported.
"I heard they were having a discussion about their future together," a friend said.
"He killed himself in front of her as she watched over the Skype camera."
"It must have been the most horrendous thing imaginable. She could see he had cut his throat but could not do anything to stop him," the friend added. (ANI)
