Washington , Mon, 28 Nov 2011 ANI

Washington, Nov 28 (ANI): A list of errands written by John Lennon is going up for auction this week.

The scribbled notes, that include odd jobs like buying marmalade, putting back his son Sean's mattress, asking his pal Sam Green for the return of his book Thor Heyerdahl and sorting out his cable TV box, are expected to fetch at least 4,000 dollars, reports Contactmusic.

He writes, "1) H.B.O. guy coming between 3-5: Be There (the other guy didn't know what was wrong)."

The notes by this legend, who penned some of the best-loved lyrics of the 20th century, will go under the hammer on Wednesday as part of the 'Gotta Have Rock and Roll online sale' and will have a starting bid of 3,000 dollars.

It's the latest piece of Lennon memorabilia to be placed on auction.

Earlier, one of the singer's teeth was sold for 32,000 dollars, this month, while his 'Bed Peace' sign, created during his 1969 'bed-in' peace protest in a Canadian hotel with wife Yoko Ono, was purchased by a fan for 155,600 dollars. (ANI)
