NCAER to undertake study of prevailing scenario in farm sector

New Delhi, Nov 25(ANI): National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER) had submitted a proposal for integration of information on food crop production, markets and consumption and assessment of alternative scenarios for the food crop.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Department of Agriculture and Cooperation (DAC) and NCAER with the objective to bridge the important gap in analytical inputs for understanding the emerging agricultural scenarios both in the short term of one or two quarters and also in the medium to long term with focus on food grains crops.

This information was given by Harish Rawat, Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Processing Industries in written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha today. (ANI)
