Washington, Oct 31 (ANI): Pop star Madonna and rapper Jay Z are set to create their own video channels on 'YouTube.com'.
Their aim is to entertain more audiences on the website with about 100 new channels of original video programming content from celebrities.
The site is shelling out over 100 million dollars to dozens of producers to create fresh content, Contactmusic reported.
Madonna will serve as a partner on the dance channel 'DanceOn' and Jay Z will produce content related to his Life + Times website.
Other participants include actor Ashton Kutcher, Sofia Vergara, Rainn Wilson, Amy Poehler, Shaquille O'Neal and Tony Hawk.
Few channels will premiere by the end of this year while the rest will debut in 2012. (ANI)
