London, Oct 11 (ANI): Late singer Amy Winehouse's dad Mitch, 60, has reportedly vowed to tell the singer's "true story" in a new book.
According to reports, the aggrieved father admitted that writing 'Amy, My Daughter' would help him come to terms with her death.
The "heartfelt and revelatory memoir" would be published by HarperCollins next summer and all proceeds will go to the 'Amy Winehouse Foundation', which has been set up to help children and young adults facing difficulties.
The late singer fought a public battle with drink and drugs.
"I believe that through Amy's music, her foundation, and this book, her name will live forever," The Sun quoted Mitch as saying. (ANI)
