London, Aug 17 (ANI): The final 'Harry Potter' movie that made 750million pounds at the box office is said to have paid just 40 pounds to Toby Papworth who played the infant Harry Potter in the movie.
The 20-month-old baby appears on camera four times and even features in trailers shown worldwide for the movie.
In a flashback in the film the baby is seen clutching the wooden bars of a cot as Potter's parents try to protect him from the evil Lord Voldemort who fires a killer curse at him.
The curse bounces off the baby's head, leaving Potter's famous lightning-bolt shaped scar that was painted on Toby's head by make-up artists.
Mother Ashley, 26, said that she couldn't believe after she received the fees from the agency.
"I couldn't believe my eyes when I got the cheque," the Sun quoted her as saying.
"I was told he would get a standard extra's fee for the day, but they promised to try to get more if he appeared in the film," she added.
Baby Papworth was on set twice in the morning and twice in the afternoon, was given his own dressing room and his mother got a 90 pounds chaperone fee.
However, Warner Bros said an external company set fees. (ANI)
