Two killed, 30 injured in train collision in West Bengal

Malda (West Bengal), July 31(ANI): At least two people were reportedly killed and 30 others were injured in a train accident in West Bengal today.

 

According to Headlines Today, six bogies of the Guwahati-Bangalore Express derailed near Malda district.

 

Another train, Azimganj Passenger, which was coming on the adjacent track later collided with the derailed bogies of the Guwahati-Bangalore Express.

 

Two bogies of the Azimganj Passenger caught fire after the collision, the report said.

 

Rescue and relief teams have been rushed to the accident site. (ANI)
