Photographer sues over stolen Marilyn Monroe nude pics
Washington, Sept 27 (ANI): A photographer is suing two men who are said to have stolen some of late American actress Marilyn Monroe's nude pictures that he had taken.
The photographer, Bert Stern, had taken the famous Last Sitting series of photos of Monroe, just six weeks before she died from a drug overdose in 1962.

In his claims, Stern said that seven of the famous photographs, showing the tragic star posing naked behind a transparent white gauze, were never returned to him by editors of Eros magazine.
The pictures had been loaned to the now-defunct magazine more than 40 years ago.
In the lawsuit he filed in New York against Michael Weiss and Donald Penny, he claims that the snaps are in their possession and alleged that they had even attempted to sell them back to him.
Stern claims the photos are worth 100,000 dollars each, and is suing for 700,000 dollars and 1 million dollars in punitive damages and legal fees. (ANI)
