Oppo Watch Specs and Features: The Latest Oppo Watch has Striking Similarities with Apple Watch, comes with eSIM support and VOOC charging

Oppo formally launches its new Oppo Watch at the Find X2 event in China. The Oppo Watch looks similar to the Apple Watch and comes with the eSIM support, ECG sensor, VOCC charging. The smart watch is build using Snapdragon 2500 chipset. In India the starting cost of this watch is Rs. 16,000.

After all the rumors and speculations, Oppo has released the first look of its new product Oppo Watch. Oppo Watch is all set to hit the market and its offering a host of new features to the customers. This is the first smartwatch that Oppo has made and the buzz surrounding it is quite high. Multiple pictures of the Oppo Watch were posted on Twitter, and the company wants to take the hype even further. Though, the first look of the Oppo Watch has raised a few eyebrows, as significant similarities in design can be seen with Apple Watch. The first smartwatch from Oppo looks exactly like the Apple Watch, the design that was revealed received its share of criticism. Except the look of it, much remains secret about this new smartwatch. Till now, Oppo has not confirmed any of its features or specifications. 

Oppo has become a huge smartphone brand in India, its presence in the online and offline market has resulted in great sales figures. After competing fiercely with other mobile brands like Samsung, Xiaomi, Vivo; Oppo has now stepped into the market of smart accessories. Oppo as a mobile brand has already gained the trust of its customers, so the timing is perfect for a new launch. With a pre-planned marketing strategy and ever required hype, Oppo Watch is already creating a lot of buzz. Tech enthusiasts are all lined up to try out this new gadget and it is expected to do well in the market.  

The Oppo Watch will have calling facilities, as we have already seen the teaser indicating that. It is also likely to have emergency calling and call rejection SMS. The Oppo Watch will run on Wear OS, suggesting dependable and smooth performance. The latest teaser also reveals the two buttons on the right side of the watch and they are going to offer different functions. This dual button design feature is the only part which is not similar to Apple Watch. In terms of choice, the Oppo Watch is most likely to be available in two colors, that is Blue and Gold. There will also be colorful wrist straps attached to the watch. These interchangeable wrist straps are going to give your watch a new look every time. The display of the Oppo Watch is a big surprise this time, as the users will be getting a curved display. The curved display would be guarded by a 3D glass on top of it, this is to make sure it is well protected. 

Though there is a lot that is unknown about the Oppo Watch, like the price range and most of its features, but the smart watch seems to deliver good performance. The smart watch also have a microphone and an interesting green line on the button placed at the bottom. This Oppo Watch will offer a host of new features and the users are waiting eagerly for the arrival of the product, the smart watch will be soon available on leading online marketplaces.        

Features and Specification of Oppo Watch

The Oppo Watch comes in two display sizes the 1.6-inch and 1.9-inch. Both these models uses a 3D curved AMOLED panel for display and it covers 100 per cent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.

The Oppo Watch comes with two physical buttons which is located on the right side. These buttons are used to trigger various functions on watch.

Oppo watch comes in two colours, gold and black. The straps are also interchangeable.

Oppo Watch comes with the ECG sensor embedded in the device, which can be used to analyze the heart rate patterns of the user.

This watch is powerful and comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 2500 processor with an Apollo 3 co-processor.

The Oppo Smart Watch runs on ColorOS, which is in turn based on the unspecified version of Android. We still do not have any information about the availability Google Play services on this smartwatch.

The Oppo Watch comes with a support for eSIM which can be used for calling and messaging over mobile.

The Oppo watch comes with the support for VOOC charging technology that is rated to top up half the battery in 17 minutes. As per Oppo claim, this watch offers a battery life of 40 hours.
