New Delhi, 6th Sept: Delhi BJP's Mahila Morcha today continued to stage demonstrations and burnt the effigy of Chief Minister Kejriwal to protest against the insult to the Father of Nation and the women of Delhi by the Aam Aadmi Party leaders.
In a demonstration at Khajuri Chowk under the leadership of North East District Mahila Morcha President Smt. Rajni Sodhi large number of women participated and the prominent women were former Mayor Dr. Annapurna Mishra, Pradesh Secretary Smt. Jyoti Arya, Councillors Smt. Anita Sharma, Smt. Asha Tayal, Morcha Office bearers Smt. Sunita Raghav, Smt. Dharmviri Devi, Smt. Mani Bansal, Smt. Madhu Dubey and Smt. Seema Bakla. District President Shri Raj Kumar Ballan, Vice President Shri Anand Trivedi, District Secretary Shri Satya Pal Singh and Shri Ram Naresh Parashar also took part.
Mahila Morcha Pradesh Secretary Smt. Jyoti Arya said that even the women workers of Kejriwal’s Party are not safe in Aam Aadmi Party, what to talk of the women of Delhi. Kejriwal had promised of deputing commandos for the security of women at the time of elections now he is trying to cover up the evil deeds of his Minister accused of rape. Had the media and BJP not exposed this case many women like Smt. Soni Mishra would have become victim of the Ministers and MLAs of Kejriwal’s Government. She demanded that shameless Kejriwal should resign from the post of Chief Minister and public life.
Under the leadership of Najafgarh District Mahila Morcha President Smt. Pushpa Rajput a demonstration was organised at Dwarka Mod in which Vice President Smt. Kiran Chaddha and Councillor Smt. Shashi Prabha Solanki, Smt. Shivali Sharma, Smt. Shashi Tomar, Smt. Rajkumari and large number of women participated. Addressing the workers present on the occasion, Pradesh Vice President Smt. Kiran Chaddha said that atrocities against women, sexual misconduct and corruption have become distinction of Kejriwal Government. The number of Ministers and MLAs involved in corruption, fraud, rape and other heinous crimes are increasing. Although Kejriwal talked about transparency and purity in politics he has become patron of corrupt persons, rapists and other persons involved in misconduct.
Under the leadership of Chandni Chowk District Mahila Morcha President Smt. Seema Nigam and Smt. Rima Shareen a demonstration was held at Majnu Ka Tila in which women in large numbers participated.
