Amitabh Bachchan, Vidya Balan & Nawazuddin Siddiqui Are All Geared Up With Te3n!
After entertaining the masses with the much liked and coveted - Kahaani, director Sujoy Ghosh is back with his next thriller, Te3n. The film is a suspense thriller and is already in news for all good reasons.
It boasts of a might star cast with big names like Amitabh Bachchan, Vidya Balan & Nawazuddin Siddiqui playing the lead roles. For the uninitiated, Te3n was earlier supposed to release on May 20; however, this date being booked by Aishwarya Rai & Randeep Hooda starrer Sarbjit, forced the makers of Te3n to shift the release date to June 10.
While the movie will hit screen this week, let us here check out some facts about the thriller and get to know it more.
Plot: As said, the film is a thriller and is said to be the official remake of South Korean movie Montage. The news was confirmed by Amitabh Bachchan. Sujoy Ghosh is said to have bought the rights of Montage to make it in Hindi.
Going by the trailer, Amitabh Bachchan is seen playing the role of a grandfather while Nawazuddin is playing a priest. Vidya is to be seen as a cop. The film revolves around an 8 year old case wherein the three core characters are seen searching for truth. From the looks it’s evident that all the three prime characters in the film are hunting for a missing child. The trailer is quite intriguing and soul stirring.
Music: The background score and music for Te3n has been composed by Clinton Cerejo whereas the lyrics have been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The film’s audio album was released on 27 May and during the launch Vishal Dadlani gave a live performance on the song Grahan. Te3n has in total five tracks in the voices of Clinton Cerejo, Vishal Dadlani, Divya Kumar, Benny Dayal, and Bianca Gomes. The song Kyun Re has been recorded in the voice of Amitabh Bachchan too; this particular song portrays the pain of a grandfather who has lost his granddaughter. The music is sponsored by T-series.
Production: Te3n started its shoot on November 24, 2015 at Writers' Building, Kolkata. Initially the shoot was done with Vidya and Nawazuddin. It is also notable that Te3n during the shoot, Te3n even registered itself as the first Hindi film to shoot at Victorian-era Writers' Buildings. Veteran megastar Amitabh Bacchan joined his Te3n crew on 27 November 2015. Like Kahaani, Te3n also has been shot in Kolkata. It wrapped shooting on January 31, 2016 and the trailer came out on May 5, 2016.
Trailer analysis & release: The film’s trailer has been successful in hitting the bull’s eye. It has got a thumb up from everyone around. Trade experts believe that Te3n has the potential of repeating Kahanni’s record breaking success. And with the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Vidya & Nawaz being part of it, people do have high hopes.
