Thanks to the launch of premium budget smartphones, now we've a lot many variants fighting out for the top slot. Of late, we got to see many mid range phone competing against each other and following the suit now are Meizu M3 Note, Xiaomi Redmi and LeEco Le 1s Eco.

The three phones are getting a good response in India and there is a lot of confusion amidst the users as to which would be a better buy. All of them come in the same price bracket which certainly makes it difficult to decide on the worthiest one. They all boast of compelling features and each has something unique to offer.

Let us here understand their specifications in detail to understand which one stands out and should be your ideal pick.

Look & Feel

Like always, we'll first start with the design feature. Three of them have unique designs to flaunt and if design is your criteria of buying, then this would certainly call for individual preference. The LEeco Le 1s Eco is the same as Le 1s and has the similar full metal design with fingerprint scanner placed at rear plus volume and power buttons at the side. Its ultra-slim bezels give the display a wider and better look.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 on the other hand comes with a metallic finish along with unibody design. It has fingerprint scanner at back which is located just under the camera sensor. Speaker too is at the back.

Finally talking of Meizu M3 Note, this one also features metal unibody but comes with physical home button – a feature that's absent in other two smartphones. From design point, we highly recommend the M3 Note

Display

All the three smartphones come with a similar display – that measures 5.5 inches with full HD resolution. With Redmi Note 3 display you get 178-degree viewing angle backed by Sunlight display tech as well as a unique night mode. The Meizu M3 Note offers 2.5D screen and fine viewing angles exclusive of a fingerprint magnet. The Le 1s Eco has the same display like that of Le 1s and has edge-to-edge screen glass.

Camera

This is one area where Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 scores better than its rivals as it has extra pixels. The device comes with 16MP primary camera supported by PDAF, dual ISP, dual-tone LED flash and HDR. Its 5MP front-camera comes with 36 smart beauty profiles that offer enhanced selfies. As for Meizu M3 Note and LeEco Le 1s Eco, they both have 13MP front camera and 5MP front camera.

Processor, RAM and Storage

Redmi Note 3 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 CPU with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. On the other hand, Le 1s Eco and Meizu M3 Note come with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The M3 Note is powered by 64-bit MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor whereas the Le 1s Eco runs on 1.85GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core processor.

Software and Fingerprint Sensor

Le 1s Eco, Redmi Note 3 and Meizu M3 Note run Android 5.1 Lollipop. Meizu M3 Note as stated comes with its personal Flyme OS skin in addition to its primary OS, while Xiaomi makes use of its MIUI 7, the Le 1s Eco has EUI skin. Redmi Note 3 and Le 1s Eco feature quick fingerprint scanning sensors which are placed at the back of the devices, whereas Meizu has a biometric sensor present at its physical home button in the front.

Coming to battery, Meizu M3 Note has 4,100mAh which is the biggest of the three. Next stands Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 which has a 4,050mAh unit and Le 1s Eco packs packs 3,000mAh battery and it even has a new standard USB Type-C port. The other two handsets have microUSB slots. LeEco Le 1s Eco and Redmi Note 3 come with quick charging tech but this same feature lacks in Meizu M3 Note.

Price and Availability

Le 1s Eco, Redmi Note 3 and Meizu M3 Note, all shares the same price of Rs. 9,999, but as for Le 1s Eco, it is offering some discount in its first flash sale. The handset would even has free one year LeEco membership, that gives access movies, music, TV shows  and cloud storage. As for Meizu M3 Note, it is also being sold at flash sale for which you will need registrations. The first sale will is to happen on May 31 absolutely on Amazon India.
