O. Panneerselvam takes the oath of Chief Minister

After the death of former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Jayarama Jayalalithaa, the Finance Minister O. Panneerselvam has taken the oath of Chief Minister. Only after two hours of the death of Jayalalithaa, Panneerselvam was choosen as the leader of the group of MLAs of AIADMK.

The governor of Tamil Nadu C. Vidyasagar Rao administered the oath for the next Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam.

O. Panneerselvam became the Chief Minister of the state the third time.

This time O. Panneerselvam was seen calm instead of emotional as seen earlier. He was also seen as taking the photograph of Jayalalithaa in his pocket.

As you know, the Jayarama Jayalalithaa was dead after suffering a cardiac arrest on Sunday and on the very next day her condition got extremely grave.

Jayalalithaa was admitted in the hospital on September 22. She fought a battle for 74 days against her health.

Her supporters were gathered outside the premises of the hospital whereas, the ministers were started coming at hospital from Sunday after hearing about her cardiac arrest
