Due to fog in Delhi on Wednesday morning railways and flights were got effected. The visibility here decreases up to only 100 metre.
An officer from North Railway Neeraj Sharma said, “More than sixty trains reached late at their destinations because of fog.” He further added, “21 trains which will release from Delhi will be also late.”
“There will be an increase in the number of the trains which will be late,” said Neeraj Sharma.
The officials from Airport also said that due to less visibility, many flights will be late and will get effected.
An official said, “due to the sudden increament in fog, visibility decreased up to 100 metre and the route of 14 flights were changed and many flights gets effected and will reach late.”
But, in noon visibility increased and recorded 1000 metre.
Earlier, Delhi woked up with a foggy morning and visibility was only 100 metre. The temperature was recorded in the morning at 11 degree Celsius. Today’s morning was the first foggy morning which is so dense in Delhi.
