Jacqueline Fernandes steps forward to help Chennai victims

Mumbai, January 15th, 2016: The Chennai floods have left an indelible mark on the hearts of the residents. Thousands were left stranded in the absence of basic amenities. While the condition of the city has improved post the floods, there's a lot that can still be done to bring back the livelihood of these people.

The Good Samaritan that she is, Actress Jacquline Fernandes has stepped forward to do her bit. She has associated with an NGO by the name of Habitat for Humanity.

Commenting on this initiative she said, “My heart goes out to the victims. It must be heartbreaking to not have a home or shelter, especially at a time like this. I have teamed up with the NGO to help build homes for the victims. As a public figure, I can use my social media platforms to generate funds. There is no greater joy than giving back.”

Jacqueline has always known to have a very philanthropic heart. It is heart-warming to see the happiness that she is spreading with this small endeavor.

The actress has completely shooting for Housefull 3 and has a number of prestigious projects lined up.
