'Yaara Silly Silly' release date pushed to November 6

Romantic venture 'Yaara Silly Silly' has pushed its release by a week, and is now scheduled to release on November 6, confirmed the director Subhash Sehgal.

Sehgal has cited the release of numerous films on their earlier date October 30 as the reason for the date reshuffle. He said, “We are tremendously confident about our film. But there is a clutter of releases on October 30, almost 7-8 of them were scheduled to release before we pulled out. There was a possibility that our film would get lost in this clutter. We've put our heart and soul into this film, so we can't afford to see our film not even getting the chance to prove its merit, just because of numerous releases.”

According to trade reports, 'Tere Bin Laden 2', Soha Ali Khan-starrer '31 October', Kunal Khemu-starrer 'Guddu Ki Gun', Randeep Hooda-starrer 'Main Aur Charles' and 3-4 other films more are lining up their release on October 30.

“Getting screens in such situations is difficult even if it would be the most outstanding film. We have now shifted to November 6, where there is only one more film releasing, which gives us a fair chance. I'm confident that if we get decent number of screens in the first week, we'll be able to grow and sustain through word-of-mouth,” Sehgal said.

The film features Paoli Dam and Parambrata Chatterjee in lead roles and is a refreshing romance blended with substantial bits of comedy.

'Yaara Silly Silly' directed by Subhash Sehgal is jointly produced by Reena Bhushan Suri and Neena Subhash Sehgal under the banner 'Movee Dreems'.
