The Aam Aadmi Party workers protested BJP, demanding the resignation of Union Ministers Sushma Swaraj, Smriti Irani and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje.
The AAP also questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s silence on the ongoing issue of Union Ministers Sushma Swaraj, Smriti Irani and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje.
The demonstration called by the Delhi unit of the party at Jantar Mantar was led by party’s state convener Dilip Pandey and state secretary Saurabh Baradwaj, MLA.
The anti-government protesters congregated at Jantar Mantar in the morning and marched towards Parliament where they braved strong resistance from the police demanding the resignation of the BJP leaders. Several AAP Delhi unit office bearers and MLAs were part of the protest.
The protests were raising slogans such as "(Narendra) Modi-(Lalit) Modi bhai bhai (brothers)", and "Modi ji muh toh kholo...... bhrastachar pe kuch toh bolo".
