BJP and AAP both have misled the electorate: Congress

New Delhi, Sun, 24 May 2015 NI Wire

Ms. Sharmistha Mukherjee, Chief Spokesperson of DPCC. Ms. Mukherjee said that as a concerned citizen of the country, she wish she could congratulate both, or at least, one of these governments on good governance. But it's unfortunate that after coming to power with the massive popular mandate, both the governments have failed miserably in terms of delivering good governance. Ms. Sharmistha Mukherjee said both the parties came into power promising stars and moon, and deliberately misled the electorate.

Within a few months of forming their respective Governments, one party said it was all 'JUMLA', and another said that even if his party could manage to fulfill only '50%' it would be good enough. She strongly condemn this kind of approach and said both the parties are guilty of betraying people.

She further said that 100 days of Kejriwal Govt. has failed miserably in terms of creating a roadmap for governance, which would indicate where the government is headed, what policies are formulated and what mechanism are being developed for delivering their promises.

She slammed the Delhi government saying it’s directionless and confused without a clear roadmap. They are busy fighting with each other and every one else, be it the Central Govt., Lt. Governor, senior bureaucrats or media. They are blaming others for their non-delivery.

Ms. Sharmistha Mukherjee said DPCC led by its President Shri Ajay Maken is going to organize a protest on 26th May 2015 at 11.00 AM at Jantar Mantar against both the centre and the state Governments for their non-performance. She said that her party doesn’t believe in making false and unsubstantiated allegations.

The shadow department heads of DPCC are doing detailed research on the non-performance and mis-governance of Kejriwal Govt. On 26th May Shri Ajay Maken will release the document to tell the people of Delhi about the failure of the Kejriwal Govt. in its first 100 days.
