In tragic accident at least 30 dead and over 150 injured in UP when the engine and two coaches of Dehradun-Varanasi Janta Express derailed near Bachrawan Railway in UP today.
Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu expressed his grief over the loss of innocent lives in the train accident.
It is reported that the train has to stop at Bachrawan station at around 9.10 AM, but it did not stop and entered the sand hump. This caused the train to derail. Due to derailment of the train several passengers died and more than 150 passengers injured in the accident.
Congress president Sonia Gandhi extended her condolences to the family members of those died and injured in the accident.
