Maheish Girri, Member of Parliament, East Delhi, visited Laxmi Nagar Vidhan Sabha constituency along with the senior government officials of PWD, MCD, Delhi Jal Board, DDA, Irrigation Department, Delhi Police, BSES, Traffic Police and Officials from DM office to assess the problems of the area. He discussed in detail with the officials matters pertaining to water supply, electricity, traffic difficulties, roadside illegal kiosk, parking, Law & order issues, street light problems and many other civic problems.
Local residents also appraised him of the civic problems of their area. He immediately drew a time bound action plan along with the officials to resolve the problems so to provide relief to the local residents. He personally has taken up the responsibility to follow-up regularly on the time-bound action plan and also sought their involvement & cooperation. Maheish Girri has assured the local residents all their problems and issues will be resolved.
One of the major issues in Laxmi Nagar is parking & traffic. Maheish Girri ji has requisitioned the parking plans from DDA and Traffic Management details with ACP. He discussed with the officials to extend more facilities for government school so that the quality of education can be improved.
He has advised the police officials to intensify patrolling of this area to effectively maintain law & order. Delhi Jal Board Authority has assured him to start desilting of sewer & fresh water line which was found merged at place.
Maheish Girri has plans to personally visit all the constituencies in his area along with the government officials and resolve civic problems of the area in a planned and structured way. Tomorrow he is visiting Trilokpuri & he plans to visit Krishna Nagar on 23rd June.
