New York, Mar.31 (ANI): Photos with tigers, duck face or shirtless snaps make online daters cringe when browsing profiles on dating services like Tinder.
An online dater and a group of her Manhattan friends have created an app called "The Tinder Commandments", a hilarious list that pokes fun at the odd snapshots, the New York Daily News reported.
"No tigers is one rule," Alonso-Smith said, but she also has some more common gripes - thou shalt not do the "duck face," and thou shalt not pose shirtless are included in the "commandments."
Showing too much skin is one of the biggest faux pas when it comes to selecting a photo, said dating coach Laurel House, who helps eager singles create profiles for the dating site AYI.com.
House said that if one's main photo was in a bikini in the mirror, it's cheesy and pathetic as it sends a wrong message, unless one was looking for a hookup.
Few Commandments made by Erika Alonso-Smith and her friends suggest that one should be authentic and photos should show their real interest and if one says that he/ she loves rocking stilettos but also like to go camping, then photos of both the hobbies must be shown to other users. (ANI)
