North Delhi Mayor, Azad Singh today inspected Sadar Paharganj Legislative Assembly area covering and directed the officials to concentrate on the sanitation and cleanliness in the locality.
He was accompanied by the area councillors Smt. Neelam Dhiman, Satbir Sharma and Praveen Jain (Ex- chairman Sadar Paharganj ward committee) as well as Additional Commissioner, Deepak Hastir; Chief Engineer, Sanjay Jain; Deputy Commissioner, S.P. Zone, Mr.S.S. Gill; Director Education,. Jas Ram Kaim and senior officers of other departments.
During the inspection of Shastri Nagar (Ward No. 73), Mayor of North Delhi, Azad Singh expressed unhappiness over the state of sanitation and cleanliness around the Dhalao and directed the officials to check it regularly if it is found that it is not cleaned properly the concessionaire be imposed fine. He also inspected the municipal school and directed the officials to repair the school building.
During the inspection of Inderlok Colony, Mayor inspected the municipal school and tasted mid-day meal for its quality, which was being distributed among the children. He also talked to the children about their education facility.
Azad Singh also visited the municipal teachers’ physical training camp at Kishan Ganj where he addressed the teachers and said that before becoming the Mayor of North Delhi he himself was a teacher and he knows the responsibilities of a teacher. He also said that teachers should also know the new invention and innovations in the field of education and it would be helpful for them to import education. He also inspected the Vivekananda polyclinic at Padam Nagar and expressed his satisfaction over the facility available in the polyclinic.
While inspecting the Deputy Ganj, he inspected the construction work of polyclinic at Bara Hindu Rao and directed the officials to speed up the work.
