Protest outside Advani's residence in favour of Narendra Modi

Amid the high voltage drama in the Goa conclave of BJP where Advani skip the meeting, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi's supporters protested outside senior BJP leader L.K. Advani's house in the national capital.

Protesters belongs to Hindu Sena workers holding a 'Narendra Modi's Army' banner shouted slogans like 'Narendra Modi Zindabad' and 'Bring Modi as prime minister' outside Advani's house on Prithviraj Road in central Delhi.

The protesters were demanded from Advani to allow Modi to assume a greater role in the party.

Protesters were in great triumph and demanding that now Advani should announce the name of Modi as a pm candidates as he has become the demand of the country.

Meanwhile Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Prakash Javadekar told reporters in Goa's capital Panaji, where the three-day party conclave started Friday, that Advani will miss the party's entire national executive meeting due to "ill-health".

Advani's absence comes amid reports that the he was upset about a decision to make Modi the head of the 2014 general election campaign committee.
