The Delhi University Student's Union (DUSU) Thursday convened a student’s parliament at the conference centre in the University Campus, protesting the discrimination in newly entrant 4 yr graduation programme, schedule to be held from the next session.
Besides DUSU representatives, council members from different colleges were also present. All the teams including the Vice-Chancellor, Deans of colleges, proctors and other prominent professors who are participating in the formulation of the course were present.
Purpose of the meet was to seek clarification on the proposed programme, as there are doubts in the minds of students about the programme, said DUSU President Arun Hooda.
DU VC prof. Dinesh Singh in his address emphasised on the overall development of the students. He introduced the silent features of the programme. All queries of the students were addressed by the team members.
