Trailer of Lootera starring Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh in the lead role is released. With the looks of it, the film is based in 80's era, set in Kolkata and Dalhousie.
Lootera is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and produced by Phantom and Balaji Productions.
Lootera will release on 5 July 2013.
Story of Lootera:
Ranveer Singh plays the role of Varun who is madly in love with Pakhi played by Sonakshi Sinha and so is she. They both want to get married but are opposed by their parents as Love Marriages are forbidden.
So they run away and get married. But as they start living together they realize that the person they love is not what they thought would be and their marriage ends up in a divorce.
Somehow, 5 years later they meet again, and believe they still love each other.
Varun comes to know about a rare disease that Pakhi is suffering from and that soon she will die. Hence, Varun comes up with a plan, a plan to save Pakhi.
