Sheila reiterates her commitments for regularization of colonies

Delhi Chief minister Sheila Dikshit today stated that her government is working sincerely to provide relief to colonioes came up on ridge area and other affulent colonies as it is committed to protect all unauthoriseed colonies. The government has expressed its commitment by regularising 895 colonies at one go. Dikshit was addressing a rally attended by over 25 thousand paeple at Aya Nagar under Chhatarpur Assemble segment. UD Minister Arvinder singh, Former Speaker Ch Prem singh, local MlLA Balram Tanwar addresed the gathering.

On the occasion, Dikshit stated that all unauthorised colonies would definetly get legat tags and the residents would become proud owner of their properties. This is a sure and positive indication that her government is all out to regularise all colonies. The procedure is cumbersome and the government would overcome very soon.

Smt Dikshit stated that the city government would consider this project for early execution and a study would be conducted soon for this purpose. The connectivity would benifit lacs of commuters between AIIMS ,Delhi Haat and Chhatarpur temple and historical monumants around Qutub Minar.

She also refered to variors social schemes like pensin to widows, handicapped and aged, Annshri, Kerosene free Delhi and others which have been benifiting lacs of poor and underpriveldged persons. The govenment has constructed major hospitals like ILBS, flyovers, Delhi Metro and provided swanky buses. The DTC buses and Metro jointly are catering to 75 lakh persons daily. The achievements in the field of education are also praisworthy. The city government has been fully utilising the entire tax collection on infrastructure development and social sector schemes.

UD minister Arvinder Singh stated that the city government has regularised 24 colnies under Chhatarpur segemnet out of which many have been recently regularised. He assured that the colonies on Ridge, Forest land and around ASI monumnets would also get justice very soon as they could not be dnied of their rights. The process of regularisation is very tidious.

MLA Balram Tanwar said that it is chief minister Sheila Dikshit's efforts which has changed the fate of unauthorised colonies and now they are on the way of regularisation. He urged people to remember the effort of Sheila Dikshit and support her always.
