Delhi Ministers and Congress leaders described the BJP as a party deeply ridden with internal quarrels and in the state of permanent indecisiveness. The party is not only changing its CM claimants but also about to replace its announced candidates. The party which has remained a mute spectator on the failures of the MCDs would not be able to deliver at the state level and centre level.
Arvinder Singh, Haroon Yusuf and Raj Kumar Chohan while addressing a press conference alleged the BJP has been encouraging the retailers to charge the highest prices from the consumers by putting large hoardings stating the trend of increasing prices of essential items, crucial to the poor and other weaker sections of the society. The party has been in the habit of making irresponsible statements without verifying the facts and figures, with an aim to mislead people.
Singh categorically stated that the decision of regularization of 895 colonies is full and final and is un revocable. Further the developmental works are on in all other such colonies. The piped water supply has been provided in 828 and sewer lines in 98 such colonies. The BJP had always been opposing the regularization of such colonies. In fact, it has been creating mountainous obstacle in the process.
Singh further said that the BJP MLAs representing unauthorized colonies have been claiming unprecedented development works undertaken by Delhi government agencies with funds released by the city government as their achievements. The MLAs are not at all interested in getting the works undertaken by the MCDs, one of the four agencies authorized to undertake development works. It reflects failure and incompetence of the BJP ruled MCDs.
Singh criticised Dr Harshvardhan for his intention to invite experts and technology from other countries for clearing alleged mess in the city. The Ministers stated that our country is developed enough and no outside technology is required at all. They requested Dr Harshvardhan to invite foreign technology for completion of Ranijhansi Marg Fly over, hanging in the fire for the last 12 years.
Yusuf sated that the BJP lost power in 1998 not due to onion crisis but because of its incompetence in handling the crisis. How they would be able to handle the bigger challenges at the State and Centre level in case they come to power. The BJP is elated to see the ongoing prices as it has started dreaming of Power in Delhi and has also been thinking of the distribution of the offices, like 2008. The arrival had been diminishing with the change in season.
