With the obeisance to the rising Sun, the final round of the Chhath puja concludes today. The four days long Chhath Puja celebrated with full fervor where worshippers gathered at the Ghats prepared in the various parts of the capital and obeisance to the Lord Sun.
There was a massive preparation for the celebration of the Chhath puja in capital and various ghats were prepared and maintained by people and by agencies on the banks of river Yamina and other lakes and ponds in Capital.
The commonly known as Parna is the last round for the Chhath Puja and people use to celebrate the day by obeisance to the rising sun on the ghats nearest to their house. People pray to the Sun God for the happiness and good health for themselves.
Needless to say Chhath pooja is the most important festival mainly people from poorvanchalis and they celebrate with full fervor in Delhi. This festival gives the message of equality, harmony, discipline and fraternity to the society. This is sacred festival of dedication, discipline, sacrifice and firmness. This festival enhances our energy of life, moral power and willpower.
Chhath puja was started from Wednesday with the Nahayt Khay and Thursday was celebrated as Kharna. The third day of the Chhath celebration assume to be the worshipping of setting Sun and last and final day of the Chhath puja will be conclude tomorrow with the obeisance to the rising Sun.
