Sydney, Oct. 28 (ANI): Russian military has reportedly unveiled the world's first underwater machine gun ahead of the 2014 Winter Olympics to be held in Sochi.
The first ever machine gun, called the 'ADS' is an amphibious assault rifle and can also be used to battle on land by a mere change of cartridge.
The ADS is also equipped with a grenade launcher, making it an all-in-one weapon, which might help Russians protect the coveted Games, news.com.au reports.
The report said that there is a possibility that the weapon could be a key part of the arsenal of security forces patrolling the Black Sea off Sochi. (ANI)
