Tech giant Apple has reportedly unveiled its latest range of iPad Air, which claims to be lighter and thinnest ever from the earlier range of company’s product line, apart from a refreshed range of Macs and a new operating system.
Apple’s new iPad Air weighs just one pound and is said to be a 'screaming fast iPad', which is reportedly eight times faster the original device, which was launched in 2010.
The American multinational corporation also launched its latest Mavericks computer operating system, which will be available for free to download.
According to the Fox News, the tech giant has also launched a new range of the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display, which is touted to be thinner and lighter than earlier models.
Apple Marketing Chief Phil Schiller said that the new Mac sports an alluring 9 hours of battery life, which is enough to watch the entire trilogy of 'The Black Knight' on one charge.
The iPad Air will hit the stores on November 1 and will be priced at an initial cost of 499 dollars.
Moreover, the new Macs are also priced comparatively lower at 1,299 dollars for the 13-inch model, while 15-inch display model of MacBook Pro with 256 GB of storage starts at 1,999 dollars.
The Mac Pro, which is a high-end desktop computer targets the power users and will be available in December for 2,999 dollars.
