Delhi Transport Minister Ramakant Goswami alongwith a delegation today met Union UD Minister Kamal Nath to demand development of Todapur and Dasghara villages, to exhort grant of ownership rights in these villages and request early settlement of status of the villages. He was joined by the corporators Sandeep Tanwar and Prem Lata.
Goswami stated that there is no clarity on status of these villages as these are not in rural area and not included in urbanized village area. Further, the villages are not even unauthorized villages and not authorized or unauthorized colonies, which is creating obstacles in development of the villages.
The residents of these villages have been facing amenities less situation for the last 50 years. They are also feeling that other localities nearby their villages are much developed. Goswami underlined the need of proper development in the villages. He also raised a demand for construction of well-developed hospital in Naraina locality.
The residents of Nariana have no facility of treatment in government hospitals hence, they have to spend lot of money on treatment. Kamal Nath, in turn, assured the earliest action on both the demands.
