New jewellery for working woman's taste, pocket

New Delhi,Cinema/Showbiz,Lifestyle/Fashion, Tue, 16 Jul 2013 IANS

New Delhi, July 16 (IANS) Working women often prefer light, versatile and trendy jewellery, and what better if it is in gold and still lighter on the pocket? A new range promises just that.

Tanishq jewellery, from the Tata Group, has launched Mia 3.0, a new contemporary work wear line of pendants, earrings, rings and more crafted in 18 karat and 22 karat gold. The designs celebrate minimalism, and the price range of the products begins at Rs. 4,999.

"Daily wear jewellery tends to be simple and lightweight with an emphasis on wearability and minimal fuss, as clean lines dominate the design usually in a matt or neutral finish," Revathi Kant, general manager (Design, Innovation and Development), Tanishq, said in a statement.

The jewellery tastes of working women, who want to look professional, efficient and presentable, has witnessed a sea of change, according to Sandeep Kulhalli, vice president (Retail and Marketing), Tanishq.

"Today a working woman sees jewellery as an extension of her personality and takes as much care on selecting the right pair of earrings or bangle to go with her outfit as a pair of shoes or handbag," added Kulhalli.

The new line comes after the successful launch of Mia and Mia 2.0.
