Mumbai, June 10 (IANS) One person was killed and four others were injured when a portion of a residential building collapsed here Monday evening, officials said.
According to Brihanmumbai Municipa Corporation's Disaster Control Cell, four-storey building Aftab Mansion's portion collapsed shortly before 8 p.m. in Mahim in southcentral Mumbai.
Rescue teams managed to rescue four people and recovered one body from under the debris.
It is not yet known whether more people were trapped under the rubble.
The incident takes the toll in rain related incidents to 14 in the past six days across Maharashtra.
