Washington, June 07 (ANI): A US man who visited Walmart to get the benefit of low prices there got more than he thought- he found his lady love in the store.
The couple met in a North Carolina Walmart and returned to the same store to hold their wedding ceremony, News24.com reported.
Wayne Brandenburg told the publication that he would casually browse through the store a few times a week and that was where he met his future wife, Susan, who was working there as a cashier.
Brandenburg was a widower, while Susan was working at the store after her divorce.
He built up the courage to ask her on a date, and began taking Susan's favourite lunch to Walmart each day.
Brandenburg proposed to Susan a year later and she accepted but the couple was not officially married until six years later.
The couple decided to get married in the same store where they had met. (ANI)
