Washington, May 15 (ANI): Carey Mulligan has admitted that she feels overwhelmed when she is surrounded by press and feels 'freaked out' when people look at her.
The actress recalled how she used to break down when walking a red carpet, struggling to contain herself while in the spotlight, Contactmusic reported.
The 'Great Gatsby' actress said that she does not like photos and explained that she used to be much worse on the red carpet.
The 27-year-old star revealed that she just used to stand there and by the time she got to the end she would be in tears.
She further confessed that her publicist had to clean her up, smooth her down and push her into whatever event she had to go.
Mulligan added that she is slightly better now but still feels freaked out when people look at her. (ANI)
