New Delhi, April 28 (ANI): The Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region has sanctioned 338 developmental projects for the region in the last three years.
The approved cost of these projects is over Rs.3487 crores under Non-Lapsable Central Pool of Resources.
According to ministry sources, out of the total number of projects, 129 projects have faced delay in completion due to non-availability of funds from state governments, which are the implementing authority.
Slow execution of work, law and order concerns in some areas and difficult terrain of the region are some other factors for the delay. (ANI with inputs)
