New Delhi, Apr 9 (ANI): Chief Minister of West Bengal on Tuesday cancelled her scheduled meeting with Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh in the pretext, that she is unwell.
Trinamool Congress in a statement said the reason behind Mamata Banerjee cancelling her slated meeting, is her heath. They said she is unwell and is down with fever.
In the meanwhile, West Bengal Finance Minister, Amit Mitra has been hospitalised.
This decision was taken hours after shouting protesters surrounded Mamata Banerjee and attacked her Finance Minister Amit Mitra.
Mamata Banerjee is in Delhi to seek financial assistance for her state, which owes nearly 2 lakh crores in loans to the centre. She wants the government to suspend the annual interest payments of 22,000 crores. (ANI)
