Nagpur, Apr 3 (ANI): Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh has criticised Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi for taking credit for development of the state.
"Gujarat was always a vibrant, pro-industry and a pro-development state. The progress that is visible did not happen overnight, " Singh said referring to Modi's claims of bringing a turnaround in Gujarat during his rule.
"Which sector has Modi brought change?, Singh further asked.
Singh also criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for inducting former Gujarat Home Minister Amit Shah, an accused in two fake encounters, as national general secretary.
"This has exposed the BJP. It is a pointer to its poll strategy in the coming general elections," he added. (ANI)
