London, Mar 25 (ANI): A golden retriever has become a real ace in changing baby nappies by helping his disabled master in the task.
Disabled mum Cheryl Alexander just has to say the word and Orca fetches the mat, the wet wipes and a new nappy, pulls off four-month-old Lily's babygro, then bins the stinky old nappy, the Mirror reported.
Teacher Alexander of York suffers from nerve disease Reflex Neuro-vascular Dystrophy, which severely limits her movements.
"Due to the pain at times it's impossible to bend down or do the simplest tasks," she said.
Orca, a specially trained assistance dog, was provided by charity Canine Partners.
She calls him "mother's little helper."
When husband Andy is at work Orca helps her with scores of tasks including the family shopping and the washing. (ANI)
