London, Mar 1 (ANI): Brian Blessed opened up about his friendship with Pamela Anderson, his love life at 76 and how the Dalai Lama prefers cold showers to sex in a recent interview.

He starred in panto with Anderson a few years ago.

There had been lingering rumours of "artistic difficulties" after the 'Baywatch' babe was cast opposite him in Aladdin.

In fact, things reached a head when Blessed reportedly roared to reporters outside the venue in Wimbledon, South London saying, "Pamela f***ing Anderson? I wouldn't touch her with yours. I've starred alongside Sophia Loren,"

But Brian reassures me that in fact they're very much kindred spirits - and he even wrote her "lovely" letters, the Mirror reported.

He said that she was terribly intelligent, generous and clever.

He called her a love goddess and always wrote her letters.

The actor said that she is as impressive as the Dalai Lama - in her own way.

She tolerates bad taste at times because she has to make a living, he said.

When asked if he is as sexually active as he was in his 20s, he said "Absolutely."

He also revealed that he's planning to climb the Olympus Mons on Mars and how he trained with the Russians at Space City, saying that he's a fully trained cosmonaut. (ANI)
